No, it is not realistic to make a signifigant amount of money doing surveys. A little cash here and there, but not enough to pay a bill or buy groceries, let alone make an income.
I would suggest looking at your talents and think about something along those lines. Or become and in-home care provider and keep a few kids during the week. I did that for a few years. It was a steady few hundred dollars every week ($500+ when I was doing it fulltime with 5+ kids each week).
It wasnt the funniest thing ever, but I didnt hate it. It was a season of life and when my kids were older I moved on and did other things.
I also worked Melaleuca for a few years and made good money. I still get a good check each month and I havent worked in years. It takes a good personality and disipline to keep up with it.
Whatever you do, dont invest money in ANYTHING!
