Robeez or Preschoolians or Another?

My son is starting to pull himself up on things and I'd like to get him some soft-soled shoes. I understand that barefoot is best, and he's barefoot at home all the time, but isn't at daycare. Socks with the rubber grip aren't grasping well enough.

When my older son was at this stage, the selection of shoes was slim. It seems that there are a lot more out there to choose from.

Opinions? Suggestions?

Thanks

We have used Preschoolians and absolutely love them. They have great styles and a great method to check for fit. They have three different soles to match the level your child is in.

My son had Robeez and I loved them! They were easy to get on, he couldn't take them off, and they were very cute. I also found that L.L. Bean makes a product like Robeez, and they were ten dollars cheaper and worked just as well. I would suggest either brand!

Pediped makes some adorable shoes for kiddos. We also have had 2 different sizes of Pumas which are super cute.

I have used Robeez for both of my kids and loved them. Neither of my chldren were able to take them off, yet they were very easy for me to put on them. I also used the same type from Target for my daughter (now 13 months)and they were fine also and much cheaper. I also loved that I could throw them in the washing machine (but let them air dry! - I accidentally ruined one in the dryer).

The Target brand Robeez-knock-offs are good too. Keep in mind your child will outgrow these shoes in about 3 months, so as long as they're very flexible (ie nearly barefoot) and keep his feet clean, I wouldn't spend too much.

I love Pedipeds for my daughter. You can purchase them online or at Nordstroms. They are very well made and cute!

I used the robeez on both my kids and loved them. t gave better traction and protection then barefoot but withou the hard soles. I also tried the knock offs and they were ok but seemed easier for my son to remove than the name brand robeez. Of course that may have just been due to difference in ages when I tried the brands. Also they hold up well outside, my kids wore them everywhere.
