I'm not a crazy PETA person either, but Kari is right. Please rethink supporting that kind of business.
Has anyone been to the Fully Charged circus this year? We are planning to go tonight and noticed the preshow begins at 6:30. We are trying to decide whether to take our 6 year old and 3 1/2 year old to the preshow. Has anyone gone to this? Is it worth it? What time do they close the "preshow" to get ready for the real show?
Thanks for any help!

The preshow which is 1 hour before the real show is when you can go on the floor with the clowns and other acts. It is fun!
There is an elephany that draws a picture and a drawing at the beginning of the show. One year we won the drawing! it is at least 10 yrs old now, professionally framed and numbered by the circus and the elephant's name.
One of our favorite parts was always the preshow.
Enjoy!!!
We've been to Ringling Bros many times. Yes the pre show is worth it, we always go. I never paid attention to the time between pre show & actual show because we were too busy having fun. Just go and have some fun, your kids will love it and remember it.
I'm personally not a big fan of the Circus but the preshow is a blast especially for your little ones.
I was always the kid sleeping at the circus, I only would come back to life from my comatose state for the high wire acts and occassionally the clowns. I just found it boring as a kid. Go figure.
The pre-show is awesome! Definitely go!
We went to the Dragons show earlier this year. I wish I had gone earlier to the preschow because it was so much fun! They had a bouncy house and some kids got to try on costumes. Many states also have animals out. Definetly go. I also brought snacks and drinks (although it was not allowed). The stuff they sell there was very expensive.
I know it's not what you asked, but I made it clear to my son that we would never go to a Ringling circus because of the animals. Maybe you don't mind and that's fine and everyone is entitled to their opinion. But, wild animals don't belong in a circus and as cute as it looks (trust me, it looks freakin adorable), the only reason they perform is out of fear. You wouldn't believe what trainers do to these animal to get them to do stuff. If you want to go to a real circus, I HIGHLY recommend Cirque du Soliel! Eventually I will take my children to see it.
I have to say also that I won't take my family to circuses where animals perform anymore either. Did some research and it's awful. I think PETA sometimes goes too far in their message, but they at least brought this to light. Most big companies that used to sponsor the circus no longer do so due to the cruelty.
I'm assuming you already have tix and will still go. But maybe use this as a talking point to discuss with your family. And then find acts that no longer use animals.
