M.M.
I went to the one in Chandler just for an regular gyn visit and I felt like they had policies in place just to make more money. For instance, I was trying a new birth control and they have a policy that they will only give a 3 month prescription and then you have to come back in and discuss how its working for you and then they'll give you the rest of the year prescription. ALL of my other doctors I've had before have given me the prescription for a year. Also, I wanted to have my cholesterol checked. They said I would have to make another appointment to discuss my blood test results. I didn't understand why I couldn't talk to them on the phone or they couldn't mail it to me. Again, I have had many other doctors give me lab results without coming in for an appointment. I had a high copay at the time and had to get a babysitter for when I go to the doctor, so it was pretty inconvenient for me.
I saw a nurse practitioner while I was there and she was nice.
I did have to wait like 30 minutes until I got in.
I didn't go back.
Now I am seeing Dr. Balk at Southwest Women's Care in Mesa for a pregnancy and it's been great so far.
