I'm trying to go back to work after an almost 2 year absence. I had a very difficult pregnancy & had to quit my restaurant job. After my daughter was born, my husband and I decided I should take some time ot recoop and to take care of the baby. Now, we are becoming financially strained and my husband is becoming incredibly stressed out with all the pressure of supporting a family alone. We've started to argue more and I just really want a job to get us back on track and to help out. I'm looking for something with stable/set hours bc my husband travels for work. I have retail, restaurant and customer service experience but no college. Does anyone know anyone that would be willing to take a chance on a young mom thats just trying to get back on track and keep her family afloat?

What can I do next?

M., there are a number of personnel agencies out there that would be very helpful in your job search. I would first seek advice on building your resume, and once your resume is done, I'd call some of the agencies. Perhaps an entry level clerical, receptionist, admin job would be a nice change of pace from your retail/restaurant jobs, and could potentially offer you better pay, insurance benefits and opportunities to advance, as well as steady, 8-5 hours. Good luck!

That is ashame you can't stay home!
Day care is very expensive, unless you find in home care !
Hopefully the future money you do make will not go all to daycare that is the problem with alot of people! Maybe ya'll should move, if you have high rent, to where you can stay home!
Maybe take in a few children and babysit, that way you will not have the expense of day care! Good luck & have a great day !

If you are willing to learn something new and go through our comprehensive training program, this could difinitely be an option. Hi. I don't know where you live. But, the job that I was working at for 2 years was great. The only reason I left is to be a SAHM. It is called KSF Orthopedics and I was receptionist/front desk. It is a big practice with 13 doctors and 2 locations. If you would be interested let me know. ____@____.com I still stay in touch with my supervisor there and she is looking for some people now. Let me know if you are interested,
