We went to the Magic Time Machine and had a blast. There is only one here in the Dallas area. The only suggestion I have is make reservations ahead of time.

Hi, I am looking for a restaurant with a fun birthday atmosphere for my younger sister who will be turning 18 years old. She has her heart set on going to Medevial Times. However, Medevial Times is $50 per person. I am looking for a restaurant closer to $25 per person or less. She has been to Medevial Times before so I was hoping to find another type of restaurant with a fun atmosphere to surprise her with.

not sure if this is her deal or not but there's Pocket Sandwich Theater in Dallas (on Mockingbird, near 75). It's a fun dinner theater place....mostly comedy theater -- some shows are stand-up comedians. I think reservations are recommended. You can call to ask about their shows.

There's always The Magic Time Machine in Addison. The servers are all dressed up and in character. It may be kind of "kiddish" but she sounds like a fun girl and she may just find it hysterical. I'm 31 and I love those kind of places! :)
Addison Magic Time Machine....its a blast! We went in high school with a group of friends...All the staff dresses up as characters. And they do goofy stuff. Look it up online...seriously this is the place you need to go, without a doubt!!
Have you been to Magic Time Machine? It is pretty fun, the wait staff is great and usually very entertaining. (they dress in different costumes, and portray different characters) It's on 5003 Beltine in Dallas.
Good luck!

H.,
Try the Magic Time Machine in Dallas. I have not been in many years but I remember when we went at about her age and we had a blast. I also overheard some people talking the other day about how fun it is so it must still be. Hope this helps.

How about the Magic Time Machine in Addison on Beltline? The waiters/waitresses dress up as various characters... Woody from Toy Story, Batman, Madhatter from Alice in Wonderland, etc. You eat inside different themed tables... some are a school bus, pumpkin, library, heart, etc. It's pretty fun, probably about $20 per person. Medieval Times is kind of hokey. Just went over July 4... it's not really worth it.
The House of Blues in Dallas right behind the AA center is great fun usually with live music and not expensive. Have fun,

Try the Magic Time Machine in Addison on Beltline Road. It's very fun! All the wait staff dress up like characters (cartoon, movie, animals, etc.), and the decor is really fun and lively. The salad bar is a sports car!
The Magic Time Machine in Addison would be perfect. Good Luck and have fun!!
Hi H., I know the Magic Time Machine in Addison is very fun for teenagers! I truly don't know the cost but I doubt it would be anywhere near $50 a person! I would give them a call! Have fun! Blessings, J.
