I saw the posting yesterday and wanted to ask if anyone had experience with Dr. Greg Licameli. We have an appointment next Thursday and am wondering if we should see someone else or your experience with this doctor was good. we are going to the Waltham facility as the next appointment in Boston wasn't for months.

Hi- I have had a great experience with him- very factual and down to earth. Nurses were great also! As a mother of 3 and a daycare provider in the Framingham area I know of about 10 patients of his-all with positive feelings toward their appt's and surgery experiences. I would highly recommend him!

I am the one that asked the question yesterday. While I don't have experience with Dr Licameli, that was the only other name that my ped gave me (besides Ohlms), she said they were both excellent. We just went with the one that was the easiest to schedule.

Sounds familiar.... We had to cancel an appointment this week and the next available in Waltham was the end of February. We will be seeing Dr. Rabar (ENT) who was referred by another doctor at Children's. It has been our experience that the doctors affiliated with Children's are wonderful, but you are the judge.... I hope it goes well for you!

We saw Dr. Licamelli for my second daughter's tracheamalasia (Stryder). We saw him probably about 5 or so times and then the Stryder cleared up. Dr. Licamelli was a really nice guy, he explained everything, answered all our questions, patient etc... We saw him in Boston for our first appointment and then in Waltham the rest of the time.
