Do not use nail polish remover on skin, yikes! Rubbing alcohol works every time for us and my son is obsessed with "fake" tattos.
Wondering if anyone can tell me how to remove a Diego tatoo from son's arm? It is hardly coming off! It's been almost a week and not coming off during bathtime.
Thanks for your help.

Vasoline also works if you don't have baby oil around! Good luck!
I was going to say baby oil, too. If it is really stubborn, rubbing alcohol works, but it is more irritating to the skin, so try the baby oil first. Good luck!
I was always told rubbing alcohol would work. I've never removed one though, always just left them there until they were gone on their own - at most it lasts 3 wks.
sunscreen or baby wipes always does the trick for us.
Use baby oil on a cotton ball. Should wipe right off.
Baby oil and a cotton ball. Put a good amount of oil on the cotton ball and place it on the tatoo for a minute so the oil can saturate the tatoo. Then it should rub off with a little bit of effort. Good luck!
The baby oil and cotton ball should work perfectly. My kids have sensitive skin, so after I get all the tatoo off, I wash wherever it was and then rub in a little more baby oil. Just thought I'd add that in case.
My son has had his share of tatoos and they can be a bit of trouble but I have found that baby oil breaks up the ink and won't hurt the little one in the removing process. Good luck, and hope it works for you.
If the baby oil doesn't work, try a little bit of nail polish remover - it gets off EVERYTHING.
Use a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol. It should come off. If not, try olive oil on it.
Dear L E,
Yes baby oil works most of the time but we have used rubbing alcohol on cotton balls for our daughter's harder to remove fake tattoos.
pammy and good luck and Happy New Year
Try baby oil and very gently use a nylon scrubby.
