My daughter had one last spring and the pediatrician removed it. It did not come back. She did a great job and we are pleased with the results.
My daughter has plantar warts on both feet--looking for recs. for a good podiatrist or dermatologist in the above area. Not sure which one is appropriate--or should I just go to her pediatrician in the first instance? Thanks

this isn't really a referral, but my sister-in-law told me she put duct tape on her plantar's wart and left there. She said it went away. I had some once and went to a podiatrist, and her way sounds a lot less painful than what I went through. I've never tried it myself, but I've heard it works. Good luck! those things are terrible.
My son had warts on his hands and we got a referral from his pediatrician to a dermatologist that took our insurance. This is a good start because they are familiar (through feedback) with the ones that are good with kids etc. I would start there. Good luck!
Our pediatrician removed my daughter's in about 5 minutes. Haven't come back since 2002.
