Totally normal, leave it alone and it will go away. Just like cradle cap ... leave them alone and it will go away on its own.
My daughter is a month & 1 day old.
I would occasionally see a small red bump here & there on her face (forehead, cheeks, chin) and I thought it was jusy baby acne or something.
I realized today that she has even more of these little red bumps all along her forehead and upper cheeks.
Does anyone know what this is??

It is likely baby acne. They can get it anywhere they have pores. It is caused by impurities leaving the baby's system through the pores.
My DD went through phases, where it would get worse then better, from the time she was a newborn until around 4-5 months old. There were times when her 'acne' rivaled that of a teenager. It was horrible, poor girl... But I think it was more irritating to me than it was to her. She didn't care at all.
I wouldn't worry unless it is accompanied by a rash, or if it gets really severe or doesn't go away.
It could also be mild exzema.
I recommend simply wiping her face with a cloth and plain water, rather than trying to use soap. A lot of times, soap (even baby soap) just irritates sensitive baby skin and makes the problem worse.
My daughter had red bumps on the spots on her face where they would rest on my chest. When I asked her doctor, he suggested an allergy to the detergent I washed my clothes in. I washed hers and my husband's in the tide free (he has allergies to the dyes and things), but it never occurred to me that I'd need to make sure mine was as well. I started washing mine in the tide free as well and her little bumps went away.
My daughter got this.It was just baby acne..
could just be heat rashes. mine got them alot during this crazy monsoon season. are you seeing them around her neck and around other areas as well?
Very common. It will work its way out. Most of us didn't take pictures of our babies for a few weeks in the 4-12 week window for the exact same reason!
It's just a virus. Expect lots of them in the first few months.
I didn't read the other responses, but when my first child was a newborn this happened. I remember I thought maybe ants bit him or something but there were no ants in our house. I remember I freaked out and called the pediatrician's office for these red bumps. It is completely normal. Congrats and Enjoy your newborn!
Ask your pediatrician.
When my baby was an infant, I used Aveeno bath for bathing him &
no lotion.
It could be what she's drinking. If not breastmilk, some formula's don't
jive with a baby's system so you could try switching it.

I don't know exactly what it is, but all mine were really sensitive, I washed the whole family's clothes in dye and fragrance free detergent and fabric softener for the first year and I only used Aveeno soap an lotion and all the bumps and rashes cleared up. Now all of mine did battle excema and were prescribed cream, so you may want the doc to take a look at her just to be sure.
