My current Pediatrician (Dr. Lucas Pogue) recently ignored an after hours call from us and that really was the last straw in a series of disappointing interactions. The issue we called about turned out not to be anything to worry about, but I was horrified none-the-less. I'm now looking for a new Pediatrician in Bloomington/Normal. We'd prefer one with a fairly open mind, though we do vaccinate, so that's not been an issue with us. Thanks for your recommendations!
Doc Boe at Bloomington Pediatrics and Allergy is great! He is open minded and really listens to you, and makes recommendations. I also have been to others in the same office. The nurses are also so very friendly and helpful.
I have four children and we go to Bloomington Pediatrics. We love it. We see Dr. Kaye Toohill (my oldest is a girl and she only liked women when she was little) we really like her. My sister goes to Deanna Knoll and loves her. We have seen every Dr. in the practice and ALL of them are great! Dr. Boe is gentle and kind. Whenever we have had a problem after hours (a couple of times) the Dr. has always answered their cell phone or called right back. They also have Sat. morning hours which comes in handy!

Sorry to hear about your doctor issues. I know how you feel. We left from Sugar Creek Medical Associates for sort of the same reasons you wish to leave your current doctor. We had many dissapointing issues with our doctor and the staff there.
We currently use Dr. Maria Rosa at Carle Clinic in Bloomington and she is just wonderful. I was overjoyed when we went to Carle Clinic. They also have an excellent way of keeping records.
We use a selective vaccination schedule and she is very supportive. She has just been wonderful. I think she is very cautious, wise and caring. I feel like she really truly cares for my children. We have had to see the other doctors in the practice for emergency visits, and they are all great too.
I only have positive things to say about the staff at Carle in Bloomington.
