Hi. I just moved to Brooklyn and trying to locate a pediatrician for my kids and a general practitioner for myself. We are in the military so we have tricare insurance. Anyone out there in the military and live in Brooklyn?

Dr. Edna Pytlak, and her associates, in Brooklyn Heights! She's a brilliant diagnostician, and her combination of empathy and humor are unique. Also, before she prescribes any medication, especially for common childhood ailments, she examines nonpharmaceutical options. She understands children, appreciates parents, and knows her science.

Not sure if they take this insurance, but Tribeca Pediatrics in Boerum Hill is awesome. We see Dr. Tholani, who is really sweet and knowledgable. She and her staff are always really accomodating. They have three branches:
