We take all three of our kids to Fairview Dental, 541 Sullivan Road, Aurora. Phone ###-###-####. We see Dr. Tonner, but I have heard all the dentists in there are great with the kids. When I went in for a 6 month cleaning with my 3 year old (who didn't have an appointment), they convinced her to go with another hygeniest (sp?) to have her teeth cleaned and she went willingly. None of my children have ever had any problems going to the dentist and most of the time, they go have their teeth cleaned in a different area than either my husband or myself.

I second Fairview Dental and specifically Dr. Tonner. My son has not been in to see a dentist yet (he's 10 months old) but I see Dr. Tonner and I just may be worse than a 5 year old. I am scared to death of dentists however Dr Tonner and his assistant immediately put me at ease, he goes at your pace and comfort level.

I take my son to Just For Kids in Naperville. It's AMAZING. We had a HORRIBLE experience at another place that billed itself as "gentle" and my son was seriously traumatized... despite that, Dr. Tom was still able to fill his tooth without too much drama and my 4 year old likes the dentist again. I would recommend it to EVERYONE. They only treat children.

My 3 year old went to Stephen Law (Naper West Dental) for her first time and he was incredible with her. He even let her sit on my lap/lay on me at the start of the cleaning until she was comfortable and gave her an animal balloon. He showed her all of the equipment and let her play with the suction tool so she could see it sucks up the water, etc. She really liked him and is actually looking forward to her next cleaning. He is in the Dreyer Medical buiding on Healthway Drive so maybe this is who your pediatrician meant.

My son has been a patient of Vincent Losito for the past 3 years and he actually looks forward to his next appointments. I have ALWAYS sat in with my son during ALL his appointments and the staff is great about that. My son's absoulte favorite is that when hes done gettting examined he gets to choose a prize from the treasure chest. My son also had to get a tooth extracted and I was so nervous he would never want to go again. Wrong! He never complained and as a mom that is the best feeling knowing your kids are comfortable and completley at ease.
