Good day everyone. My daughter attends Montessori - she's in K4. I have two requests re: school snack. First, anyone have any good ideas for a good christmas treat we can buy or make for her classmates. Second, the kids are to bring a treat a few days each month -- any good ideas for snack? Thank you all in advance!

ps
healthy recipes are better but sweets are good every now and then ;)

I'm pretty sure by the laws these days you cannot bring anything from home that's homemade because of liability reasons.

Fruit snacks are a good hit, they are healthier than candy and a big hit with kids.

My daughter is 5 and some of her favorite snacks to take to school are of course rice crispy bars, choc dipped pretzel rods, and puppy chow( chex cereal, melted choc chips and peanut butter poured over cereal then you toss to coat and then pour in a bag with powdered sugar and toss to coat)very simple and a kid fav. Also its not that bad for you.

You should make sure you can bring a homemade treat. Most schools and daycare centers have to be store bought snacks.

The Yoplait Go-Gurts are a good snack. Even better if you freeze them. The first time I saw them at my daughter's daycare I thought "that's brilliant!" The kids love them.
