Put on the rain boots and go stompin' in puddles and shakin' trees!
Then some nice cocoa and a bowl of chicken soup!
:)
What are you favorite things to do on a rainy, stormy day?
Taking a nap would be wonderful but just not an option, I have a very active boy that says, uhmm, no Mom.

What's this "rain" thing? We don't have that here in southeast texas... (at least not lately)
Agree with Tracey K.

take a nap

Well, today is a rest day. I'm knitting a damn scarf (it's supposed to be relaxing ??!!?? Not for this guy ;-). We're going to paint pumpkins and make cookies when the kids wake up. We live in a perpetually rainy climate. Rain coats, rain boot, and rain PANTS are our saving grace. Most days? We just do what ever we would do if it were sunny - sans sun.
Well, when it rains here its usually in the middle of the night so we dont get to enjoy rainy "days". But I'm from So Cal and when it rained there during the day I would LOVE to stay in bed and read or lay on the couch where I could see it raining out the window. =)
Read and/or watch old movies.
Cooking and music classes, indoor playground, read at home and play peek-a-boo, nap, clean and ask kiddo to help, listen to music and sing and dance, play with his toys, have a nice long meal, take a bath, watch the rain standing by the window.
i love to walk in the rain!! when i had a day off when my boys were young - we would go out and play - see who could make the biggest mess then come instead and drink hot cocoa and laugh!
Wish that it would last! Rainy days are few & far between here. We had the 1st one in more than 14months last week, I spent most of the day in disbelif and shock and didnt know what to do! and Lol at Tracy K!!!
when my daughter is at preschool, I'm usually posting thngis on here and reading a book. When she's home, we play games she likes, like coffee parties (she sees me drinking coffee, so she likes coffee), and other pretend games.
