We swore by Childrens Robitussin.
We also used Vicks Vapor Rub on the chest - on the feet with socks on never did anything for us.
My daughter dropped off my 4 yr old grandbaby (yeah!). Now, just hours after she left, she has a croupy cough and stuffy nose (not yeah).
What is a good OTC for 4 yr olds - I would like to focus on the cough over everything else since that seems to be the most annoying for her. It seems like a lot of the "good meds" are for 6 and up.
Suggestions? I am diffusing a blend that will also help, but really she needs some meds to alleviate her symptoms.
Thanks!

A humidifier to ensure the air isn't dry.
Eucalyptus will also help.
Children's Robitussen.
The flu is going around - so make sure you buy the CORRECT one - like a DM vs CF - listen to her cough and see what she needs.
Good luck! hope she feels better fast
Call your daughter and ask her what she uses
Children's Robinson works well but, IMO, tastes horrible. Delsym is our go-to now.
Children's Delsym, or Children's Tylenol Cough and Cold worked well for me.
You can always call your pharmacy and ask what is appropriate to give a 4 year old for a cough like she's got. They can direct you in getting something she appropriate and a safe dosage too.
Nose spray! It works best for my kids. You need to get the stuff out and saline nose spray works like magic in a couple of days. Even my husband had a severe cough and one of the things that mainly helped is a nose spray.
