Question About Men's Clothing Stores

I am considering applying for a company that is all mens clothing, I'm not sure why I have reservations about it, seems silly, but, just
wanted to know what you guys think, or know about it. The store is Jos A Bank. So, do women work at all men's clothing stores??

Updated** I once saw a young guy working in a Victoria Secret, and I thought that was a bit strange, so maybe that's where my reservation comes from. Although this store is not an underwear store, so, a little different! :)

What can I do next?

My husband and I recently went to a Jos A Bank in our area, and there was a woman working there. It didn't bother either of us that a woman was working there, it didn't seem strange at all. We did leave because she was extremely rude, as if we were bothering her by asking about a suit, but that is a whole different issue!

We've been to several all men's clothing stores that have women working in them. It isn't strange at all.

I say apply.

I would think it was strange for a guy to be in victoria's secret, in fact I'd look at him and roll my eyes lmao. But it's not underwear so it's fine. Maybe you can help some of those guys who just can't match anything or seem to pick the ugliest sh*t to wear :P

One of my very best friends is manager of a mens clothing store. She has a real eye for what looks good on guys and knows all the latest styles. She does a great job, even with wives standing there watching. She explains to the wife/girl friend, why this looks better than that and she is great with them.

I do not see why you would not be able to do so, it is not like you are in the dressing room with them! In fact, they may walk out looking even better ;)

Yes they do. In general men are not very good at picking out or matching clothes. I read or heard somewhere that about 75% of all men have some sort of color blindness. Does this tie go wtih this shirt? Will these socks work? If you are married or in a relationship or have a brother, you have probably answered those questions hundreds if not thousands of times.

Okay, I agree that a man working at VS is strange (even if he is gay), but a woman working at a mens store seems perfectly appropriate to me. If you think about it, many men would probably like to have a woman's opinion and also may even spend more money with a woman's help! ;-)
