Has anyone ever used Priceline to Bid for airline tickets? I'm wanting to try it out, but am worried about flight times and layovers. I would like to hear anyones experiences with Priceline, good or bad, and hear what flight times and things like that you usually get when you Bid and win. Thanks abunch!

What can I do next?

I wouldn't bid either because you have no control of what airline flight time or layovers. It is just better to compare and save on different websites. Check out my online travel agency www.junestraveldepot.com and click book travel. It will give you many quotes and you get to choose what you want and the price you want.

I purchased my tickets to Hawaii and New York through price line no bidding though I bought them at the price being offered- no issues- Hawaii I flew Southwest and AA-changed flights (LAX -Horrible-Please avoid LAX) and New York I flew Air Trans-non-stop

I once used priceline and they gave me tickets with 3 layovers. One plane switch was so close together I would never have made it through the airport ontime! I asked for a refund when I pointed this out and was told I would only get a "credit" with them but it couldn't be issued immediately, so I couldn't use it for that trip. Crazy!!
I had an even worse experience with Carlson Travel, so stay clear of those guys!!!! They ruined my honeymoon!

I have used priceline bidding for flights and hotels. You will get a great price on your flight but you have absolutely no control over the time your flight leaves, how many layovers, airline etc. When I have used them, I had a short layover in Denver on the way to Los Angeles. I travelled with my 18mo old and 5 year old. It really wasn't bad and we saved about 300 dollars over all.

I would advise against bidding, not knowing when or what time you will fly is not a good idea, also they can give you lots of stops etc. And I dont think you would save that much. good luck.
