Hi Moms,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend any preschools in the Attleboro area. I've checked out The Children's Workshop and Scribbletime both in N. Attleboro but was hoping to look at a few more. This process is becoming a bit overwhelming so I would love (and appreciate desperately) any referrals you might want to pass along.
Thanks!

Hi, A.. I sent my daughter to the Children's Center at the North Attleboro YMCA for three years and also worked there for a short time before my son was born. The director, Rae Montgomery, and the teachers are wonderful. It is a great program. They provide full-day preschool programs for children ages 2.9 through kindergarten. They also offer swimming lessons and gym sessions for the kids. They provide enrichment activities, field trips and a lot of added extras. I honestly believe this preschool helped my daughter tremendously and feel it was the best thing I ever did for her. Rae's phone number if you would like to call her for more information is ###-###-####. Good luck!
We absolutely love Animal Crackers (as someone else already mentioned). Two of my daughters "graduated" from there, my third is there now, and my fourth will go there too someday! The director is an Early Childhood professor at a local college and does an amazing job with the programs. They have afternoon and morning programs. The morning programs are 2.5 hours long and the afternoon programs are 3 hours long (for the same price). They also have full-day programs and an "advanced pre-k" program for those children that just miss the kindergarten cut-off and are doing a third year of preschool. They have so many wonderful traditions, and do a great job with enrichment programming. It's a warm, inviting environment. If you call Ms. Mary Ann she'll have you come in to meet with her and watch the children at play, so that you can get an idea about the school.
Good luck!
E.
Hi A.,
Be sure to check out Animal Crackers on Landry Avenue. My children and many of my day care children have gone there over the years. They are excellent
Good luck, P.
Hello,
My son attended For Pete's Sake in South Attleboro (located behind St. Teresa's Church on Baltic Ave). They were great. HE had so much fun and learned so many things. Also the Teachers were like a big family I was pregnant with my 3rd when he went and they understood if I was 15 minutes late picking up if I had a Dr appt or anything like that. I highly recommend them. Also they share the same parking lot as the church but are not affiliated with the church just share the grounds.
Hello,
My daughter just started Preschool at Little Blessings (on rt 152 in Attleboro but very close to the N. Attleboro line). In their newsletter it said that there are a few 4 year old openings. The number is ###-###-####. Good luck on your search. My cousins children went to Little Blessings and loved it! I have yet to hear any negative comments about the school, only positives about the teachers, activities, etc.
Take care,
E.
My nephew went to Little Blessings in Attleboro and he and my sister both loved it.
