Our family will be moving to Dayton to the Centerville area soon. I have a 3 and 4 year old and am looking for recommendations on preschool. I'm not sure where we will be in living in the Centerville area yet and will likely rent for the first little while before we find the neighborhood we want to build in so I am guessing I may have to drive a bit. My oldest went to preschool last year and he had the most amazing teacher and the school itself was phenomenal. My only regret about moving is actually that the kids won't be going to that preschool. I know, it's only preschool. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me. Thanks a bunch.

What can I do next?

Hi K.!

I recommend Springboro Preschool Discovery. It is a small, traditional preschool that has been there for 30 years! My two boys have had a wonderful experience there and my youngest will be in the pre-k class this year.

I live in Centerville and I am currently looking into preschools for my daughter too. I was recommended Minds in Motion in Springboro, Attica(?) Montessori School in Centerville, and Primrose. I haven't toured them yet. A few friends recommended church preschools too : Christ The King Lutheran on Nutt Rd and Epithany Lutheran on Rt 48.
Hope it helps some-

We will be sending my 3 yr old son to Zion Lutheran Church Preschool (on Munger Rd in West Carrollton) this fall. We got information from several already mentioned in other posting and we toured the top 4 that we liked. Some are more expensive than others and some are like daycare instead of just preschool. Both my husband and I were impressed by this preschool. The staff was very friendly and my son felt comfortable enough to join the other kids when we toured it. If you would like more information, just send me an email. Good luck finding a preschool.

Hi K.,

Welcome to Dayton. Centerville is a great area.

We had a wonderful experience w/ Kirkmont Presbyterian Preschool. It is in Beavercreek- not far from 675. It might be a little far. You may want to try www.937moms.com for a better response to your question.
Good luck- A.

Hi K.,
We moved to the Centerville area last summer, we chose Centerville because of the schools. Our oldest son (4 years old) started preschool last fall, he is a special needs child and has and IEP. Centerville City School District has a Preschool, "Centerville Preschool" that runs 2 sessions per day ages 3-5 all mixed and the school is Mon-Thurs. They do have "typically developing children" that attend as peer role models. I unfortunately am not sure if there are waiting lists or not. I love the school and teachers and would just like to let you know of all of the options. Hope this helps!!!!
