As simple as it sounds, I would google Christian preschool art project and I'll bet you'll get TONS of ideas. On second thought, I just did it for you...cute stuff.

Hello ladies,
My oldest child is in preschool this year (which is part of a k-8 private school) and I have joined the fundraiser committee...what can I say she is my first and I just don't know any better:) They just built a new campus and are continuing to raise fund for the next step of building/expanding. Anyway, I have volunteered to chair the classroom project committee and I need to get some ideas for classroom projects. I am only in charge of the projects from the preschool side. It is also a Christian school so anything biblical is welcome! I am NOT very crafty but if I like the idea I can definitely find someone to help. Thank you!
The fundraiser isn't until March so while I love the thought of something for Christmas it wouldn't be as exciting in March as it is now.

What about an art auction or sale? Have the kids do art work and then sell or auction it or "give" it away for certain dontations.
Our preschool had each class dress up in themes - baking themes where everyone wore a chefs hat, 50's theme where everyone dressed up in 50s garb and posed near an old car, western theme, princess and knights theme...and then we framed it nice and auctioned those off. Some of the bids went to almost $200.
You can also have each class put a themed basket together (basket of games, basket of spa items, basket for movie night -movies, mc popcorn, chocolate bars, etc), etc. where the parents and kids can donate items, and auction the baskets off.
I have several ideas:
- paint your own ceramics (i.e. Color Me Mine) often have fundraisers where they come to your school with ceramics, paints, brushes, etc. The kids (& adults if desired) can purchase ceramic pieces and paint them. The store takes them back to the shop to fire them and then returns them to the school. The school gets some of the proceeds of the project.
- get a canvas from Michael's, Aaron Brother's, or other art supply store. draw a simple design like a butterfly lightly on the canvas. Each child then would be instructed to paint a part of the design. It can be auctioned or raffled off.
- small wooden furniture is a HUGE hit with preschool families (i.e. picnic benches, chairs, etc.). You can paint it and the kids can add designs or sign it. My favorite is adding a red thumbprint from each child and adding black accents to make a bunch of "ladybugs" on the furniture with each child's name printed neatly under their "ladybug". Again, this is something to be auctioned or raffled off.
- create CD's of favorite music from the preschool and add some of the kids singing the songs and sell them. Kids LOVE to sing familiar songs in the car and this makes it really special. Just be careful of licensing requirements. Many schools have licenses to duplicate, but you might want to check with your school.
- there's a company out there (I think it's called Art for Education) that will turn your child's artwork into high quality cards for fundraising. Very cute!!!
- provide every child with a fabric square and then with non-washable markers have the child draw a picture on the fabric (leave a small margin around the square). Make a quilt by sewing the squares together. Another auction/raffle item.
- have a bike-a-thon. The kids can bring their bikes to school and ride laps around a course you determine. They can collect sponsors for laps or straight donations to support the activity. Or you can do something similar, but make it a decathlon with a variety of activities.
- go to chuck e. cheese. Kids LOVE this place and they do fundraiser nights that can go to the school. It also helps build community.
All in all, have fun & turn it over to the Lord. It will come together!
