We used styrofoam balls as snowballs and tossed them into a target, like a box or something. you could make it cuter

We played pin the nose on the raindeer.

We played a bingo/lottow kind of game with clipart from teh computer or even stickers if you had enough.

We make ornaments by patterning white and red beads on a pipecleaner to make a candy cane. just be sure to prestring ONE bead and wrap the end of the pipecleaner around it as an anchor then the kids just string away, slide a few off so you can wrap the pipecleaner around your end one bend it and you have a candy cane.

Buy those Lawn ornament candy canes and use them as golf clubs.

play pass the present, or pass a beany baby reindeer/snowman/ Gingerbread man.

Sing Little Drummer boy, there are some books you could sing along with as you show the pictures.

read a nativiy story there are lots of cute ones out there, I'm thinking of the oen with the animals --Who is coming to my house.. that's the title. It's darling.

They can make gingerbread ornaments. Well, teachers make them prebaked, and the kids decorate them.

They can act out the Nativity story.

They can play "reindeer games" like in the Rudolph the Red- Nosed Reindeer song. Which is basically any cute/fun game and just make a twist that they have to act like reindeers.

Our kids looove the snowman song, and they act it out too. Here's how it goes:

Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman
Once there was a snowman, tall, tall tall!
In the sun he melted, melted, melted,
In the sun he melted, small, small small!

They can make snowflakes out of fancy Popsicle sticks and glitter.

Go to www.makingfriends.com for tons of great craft ideas. Super simple ones, too. Oriental trading has great craft kits for this age group, too. Browse their clearance stuff to save money!

Have fun!

Pin the star on the tree?

I like the snowball toss idea and the foam crafts (Michael's or Oriental Trading, in fact Oriental Trading has a ton of Christian themed activities). Maybe a small scavenger hunt where they pretend they are wise men and travel to find the manger (kids that age tend to like Dora).

Decorate cookies.

Maybe read a version of the Christmas Story and get volunteers with simple costumes to help you act it out. Give each Wise Man a decorated box, give a Shepperd a cutout of a flock of sheep, etc. REALLY simple.
