If 2 lines means pregnant, than the odds are that you are pg. Id does not matter if one line is darker. When i found out with my son you could barely even see the second line. I would take another one tomorrow morning, or you could go to the dr to get it confirmed to. I have never heard of a false positive though. So congrats if you are!!!

You could be. I had the same when I was pregnant with my daughter. One line light and the other lighter almost nothing. I thought it was because it was to early to check. However, when I went to the doctor 2 wks later she told me I was almost 3 months pregnant... What a surprise. Since I am a large women my periods where not normal, so I did not think anything of it. So it could be a yes. :) With my son I got my period every 20 days for the first 6 months. Imagine that tress. I would give it a week or two and go see your doctor. :)

Congratulations! If there's a second line, it means you're pregnant! The line is light only because your hCG level is still low (you JUST got pregnant) -- the levels will keep going up and the line would get darker if you tested again in a day or two.

I would try the Clearblue Easy Digital test. There is no guessing with this test, and they are very accurate! The only kind I ever use or trust! Congrats if you are!!!!

i would say no matter how light that 2nd line is, that is a POSITIVE TEST!!

As long as there are two lines its positive. Doesn't matter how light the second line is. I would follow up with your ob/gyn and get on prenatal vitamins if you aren't already. Congratulations and all the best of luck to you!

Congratulations, you're pregnant! Go see your OB to make it official, but very rarely do you get a false positive. No matter how faint the line is, it counts. As you go further into your pregnancy and your HCG levels increase, the line on a pregnancy test will get darker. And don't worry; menstrual symptoms are very common in early pregnancy.

congrats! sounds positive to me :) you should definitely call your obgyn and get a blood test to confirm it! that will give you your answer 100%!
i tried for 3 years and know how hard it is to believe it when it actually happens. if you want more info on pregnancy tests, www.peeonastick.com is GREAT - talks about all the different brands and their sensetivities and about false positives (which as super rare unless you're on certain fertility drugs which would put hormones in your body that the test would be confused by).

Congrats!!!! Any line means your preggers! I tried for 7 years w/my first and my line was super light too. Call you Dr asap to get checked out and confirm! It is also normal to be crampy in the beginning.

Any line means it is positive. When I was pregnant with my second and took a pregnancy test, the line was so faint I could hardly see it. I just figured it was negative because I had taken so many ovulation tests and with them the test line has to be darker than the control line. It took me 3 days before I realized that I probably read the test wrong.
Anyway, you can call your doctor for a blood test to be sure, but It sounds like you are pregnant to me! Congratulations and best of luck!!!

If there is any line at all in the box then it is positive. Often it is very faint either if you are very early in pregnancy or if you had had a lot of liquid to drink so your urine is dilute.
Early pregnancy symptoms often feel like you are about to get your period so it could be that.

Sounds to me like your pregnant, unless you are on medication to help you get pregnant (not sure if that would effect the result) but it doesn't matter if the second line is lighter, it was on both that I took and I was pregnant both times.. You could always get the digital ones that say pregnant or not pregnant if you want to be sure.. Or call your doctor for a blood test. My guess would be that you are pregnant. Congratuations!

With pregnancy tests, a line is a line, regardless of how dark (unlike ovulation predictors). That's a positive result. Congratulations, H.!! Give your OB a call to find out what he/she wants to do next.
