A.K.
I have always taken tests , the day of my missed period ( I always start , 1st thing in the morning). I have always waited to tell my husband .
Out of curiosity...
When you suspect you could be expecting, do you take the test on your own, or do you tell your significant other about it?
Hubby and I bought the test together my first pregnancy.

On my own. None of ours were planned so there was no need to give him a heart attack over nothing if I wasn't pregnant.
Always told him. He was usually with me when I bought the tests or at least sitting in the car while I ran in. I don't do much shopping or errand running without him generally speaking.
The only exception was when I was having medical issues and went 7 months without a period because of it. I would periodically take them randomly every couple months or so just to make sure I was still not having periods because of the medical issue and not because a pregnancy snuck in there. I always told him after that I was still thankfully not pregnant though ;)
On my own, then if it is positive I leave it on the night stand for him when he wakes up.
I always bought the tests on my own and then told him about it. Then I would tell him that I was scheduling an appointment to confirm with my doctor that would consist of a blood test. He would come to the 10 week appointment when they did the first ultrasound.
1st-together
2-4 - did them on my own and told him when I was ready to tell him
On my own.
I am trying for a second pregnancy so every time im gonna drink i have to check!lol
I take test and then tell hubby. With the third, I call him on the phone since he was away on business. With the other two, I woke him up.
on my own. With the first we weren't trying, now that we are I still do it on my own, but he knows about it more, since I keep the unused ones on the back of the toilet in the master bath and he can see the pile go down.
