I am looking for a great Pre-K program for my son for next year in the Keller/Southlake/NRH area. He turns 4 in April and goes to a MDO this year 2 days/wk. It is a little less structured than I would like for a pre-k program, which is why I am looking elsewhere for next year. I only want 2, maybe 3, days a week, depending on price. I was a teacher, so I know the expectations for kindergarten and I want him to be prepared. I want his pre-k program to be very professional but fun with opportunities for parental involvement. Anyone love theirs?? Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

I loved the Pre-K that my daughter went to, Southlake Christian Preschool.
It is just 2 days a week, at the corner of 1709 and Davis Blvd. I was really impressed with their curriculum, they rotate classrooms for Spanish, Discovery, Chapel, etc... It is an established preschool, with a great reputation. They work on all of the Kindergarten readiness skills, and my daughter even started some beginner reading. Best of all, she loved her school and her teachers. I knew all of the kids and most of their parents. It was a great experience!

I know that most of the preschools are starting registration mid February, and many will let you do a tour before you register. Another one you could check out is at First Baptist Colleyville, I've heard it is good too.

Good luck!

We are enrolling ours in Wild About Learning (Little Texas Scholars) - I LOVE them, he went when they just had classes but now they have full day school too - 2-5 day options. VERY structured and they are VERY good about graduating readers, young readers too. I'm excited for my son to go there, he learned his phonics easily from them at age 2.5!! Hasn't forgot them since!!

We've been very happy with our experience at St. Martin in the Fields. They offer four days a week, but you can choose 2 or 3 if you prefer.
