My 3 year old has been the same way. Everytime I tell her that big girls do this or that, she tells me she does not want to be a big girl, she wants to be a baby. I decided one day that we were just going to do it no matter how frustrated we both got. So we didn't buy anymore diapers and got pull-ups only for nighttime. We let her pick out her own Dora underwear and bought some stickers and jumped in with both feet. When she woke up in the morning we put the underwear on and I just asked her if she needed to go and started keeping track of the time of day that she went potty so that I could ask her around those times. If she went in the potty, she got a sticker which is what she wanted more then any treats that we tried. M&M worked for a while but she always wanted the sticker. At first we did a lot of laundry. I now understand why people say to let them run around naked! It has been a long road but she is now mostly potty trained. She still wears the pull-ups to bed at night but she does pretty good during the day. It doesn't happen over night so just be patient and consistant. Get dad involved. Have him make a really big deal out of all the stickers that she earned when he gets home from work. Those kinds of things. Once you start, DO NOT go back no matter how frustrating it becomes. She will get it. One other thing that I have noticed with my stubborned child is that the more of a big deal I make about it when she doesn't go, the more she resists. Now, if she has an accident, she has to go change herself which also encourages her to go in the potty. Good luck! Don't pull too many of your hairs out in the process. :)
