Is it possible that you are over-exerting yourself a little around the house? Not to worry as long as it is not excessive bleeding and you are not cramping or have a fever. Do keep your appt. whether you are bleeding or not.
I am just about 6 weeks postpartum and here I am 2 days away from my postpartum visit and I've started bleeding again. I stopped completely for almost a week and then this afternoon discovered it had started back up again.
If I'm still bleeding on Thursday, can I still attend my doctor's appointment?
Thanks!
Thanks for all of your advice. I was unable to go to my appointment due to the bleeding and have rescheduled it. Thanks.

Hello,
The exact same thing happened to me and I just cancelled my appointment and made it a week later, once the bleeding had stopped. My dr.'s office told me not to come in since I was bleeding. Also, they said it was probably from trying to do too much too soon that the bleeding started up again. Hope everything turns out ok!
Call your doctor to make sure.
I think it would depend on the bleeding...if it is bright red and fills up a pad within less than 1-2 (?) hours, then they'll most likely want to see you. If it's more just a lighter flow, they may have you wait. Each doctor's office is different and their procedures are different. I would definitely call and let them know...see what they say.
I think it is ok to still go to your dr. I had my son in June and bled on and off for 8 weeks. It would stop and come back and I thought it was my period but it wasnt. I still went to my 6 weeks and the first question they asked was am I still bleeding so I think they would want to see you regardless even though it feels kind of wierd going when you are bleeding, Obviously they have seen it before and you want to make sure you are healing.
