Take Pilates classes and earn how to use an exercise ball. This is the fastest way I've seen - both personally and professionaly (I'm a doctor) - to rebuold abdominal strength.

Good luck!

Congrats on your son! I had a baby girl two months ago. I know how you feel, I gained 65 lbs during my pregnancy, I still have 25 lbs to go until I'll be content again... anyway! My husband is a CFL on his base (Navy, Command Fitness Leader) he told me don't waste my time with crunches, it's a lot of work with little outcome. Try cardio to lose the extra weight, planks, leg lifts (both when you're laying down and sitting up) and eat healthy! (that's my major downfall) I need to put my sign back on my fridge "Eating skinny is better than feeling fat" :P

I'm going to have to have an abdominoplasty to be on speaking terms with my belly and I'm 8 YEARS post delivery. The skin just got way too stretched out. It doesn't matter that I have a 6pack under all that extra skin, that I never split my ab-rectis... I have 20lbs of extra skin running "point" for me. Ugh.

I doubled my weight when preggers (over 300lbs), and 40 of that alone was in my uterus (over 20lbs of placenta when most are 3lbs, a 10lb baby and a couple gallons of amniotic fluid... I looked like I was "full term" aka 6lb each and a month early on sextuplets). I've lost all but 50lbs of baby weight... but my docs have done a lot of measurements and 40+ lbs of that is extra skin. 20 in my belly 15 in my thighs and 5 in my arms. Without surgery, there's nothing that can be done.

Hopefully, you're not in my boat, and exercise and time will take care of you (typically after 2 years you'll know how much your skin will rebound... if it hasn't, it won't). If not... then the only option is to wait until you're done having kids and have an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck).

Well in all honesty if you want your tummy to look the same then you gotta first get back down to 105. Then start toning with crunches. Don't get me wrong 125 is in no way fat but your tummy isn't going to look the same when you don't weight the same as before. After I had my second baby I lost my baby weight and got down to 107 and I did crunches every day. And only then did I have a nice flat, toned tummy again. So you're doing great on your weight loss but you just gotta keep at it. After my baby I did slimfast and that's how I lost my extra weight but Weight Watchers works great too. It's really all about calorie intake. Try counting your calories and stay around 1500 for the day (if your nursing) if not you can go a little lower than that...like 1200 or 1300 and if you stick to that the rest of your weight should come off. Good luck.

I lost my extra weight and extra flesh on belly by using mummy magic tea and light belly exercise.

My 3rd is one year old, and I still battle the belly. It's the last to go, so you have to lose ALL of your weight, and then finally, at the very end, the belly will go. Unfortunately, you can't spot treat it, all the muscles in the world underneath won't show until all the weight from all over your body is gone.

Now that I've lost all the weight, when I'm being diligent with my diet and exercise, it's gone, but the minute I slack, here comes the belly! I never used to get a belly before kids, but even my friends my age with no kids are getting bellies now, so it's just a weight gain thing.

Congrats on losing all that weight! You're saying you were 105, and now you're 125. Even when you lose 15 more pounds and are skinny, you'll still see that last 5 pounds in the belly! BUt don't worry, it will go away . Last!!!

When I can't make it to the gym, I love my Turbo Jam DVDs. And don't eat at night! Going to bed hungry really helps get rid of the belly.

I completely understand. I'm 4'11", and went from 95-145 with each of my 2 pregnancies. My kids are 6 and almost 13 now. I lost the weight easily with each pregnancy, and now weigh 94, but I'm still not happy with my stomach. I've done every kind of excercise through the years, but still . . .

Breastfeeding took care of it all for me. Well that walking -4 times a week, pilates class 1 hr 1 time a week and at least 3 more times of something physical.
