Possibly pregnant...what Do You All Think?

Hi everyone. I think I might be pregnant but I'm not sure. I have taken two home pregnancy tests that both came back negative. I think it was too early to tell. Last week I started noticing that my breasts were leaking very small amounts of clear fluid. (Did that when I first got pregnant with my 2nd.) Also, my stomach has been feeling kinda strange. Kinda queasy but not bad and kinda crampy somtimes. I've also been kinda tired. It's not time for my period for another week. I don't know. I mean, it seems like it's really early to be having these symptoms if I am. I have been on the patch and haven't missed changing it. But, I was on the pill when I got pregnant with both my girls so... Let me know what you all think. Thanks.

What can I do next?

Make a doc appt. If that doesn't start you period...I don't know what will? LOL.

It could be. Call your doctor and ask when the soonest they can test you?

It could be as a result of your birth control. If you haven't already you should go online and look at the side effects. I get scared once in a while too when i get cramps and stuff but come to find out, all of the things i am feeling are just side effects of the Nuva ring, which is the type of birth control i am using.

If your period isn't for another week I would say it way to early to test. Most pregnancy tests show up positive the day before or day of your missed period. Some women can get positives that show up sooner than that but there are few. If you don't want to wait until your period is late I would agree with the other ladys and go get a blood test from your dr's office. Be prepared though, some dr's offices won't draw blood unless your period is late. Good luck with everything. Hope everything works out in your favor.

I would trust your instincts on this. When I was pregnant with my son, I felt pregnant, had some symptoms, tested a couple times and both times were negative. I didn't know if I was just psyching myself out so much that it was causing the symptoms. You know that excited or nervous feeling that sometimes makes you feel queasy? A few days later, I tested a third time and to my surprise, I was pregnant. Good Luck!

Well. Hmmm? It could just be that you are pre-menstrual and your hormones are just really high this month. A lot of these tests are getting pretty accurate at an earlier and earlier time. I guess all you can do is wait and see. If your period does not come, take another test. I'd wait until you were actually late though....like a week.

If this is what you want...good luck! :)

You could be. I know you said AF is not due for another week but you could have OV early. I agree with the other girls when they said you should get a blood test. How old is your youngest child? Did you breastfeed and if so did you just wean? That could explain the leaking.

I found out at planned parenthood that I was expecting. I had taken 4 at home tests over the course of one month and they all had come back negative. When I had my blood test done I was 9 weeks pregnant. I suggest going to the doctor. I got pregnant on the pill and all tests said negative. you never know. Hope everything works out. C.

you should be able to go into your doctors office and request a same day blood test. I would do that, instinct is not usually wrong, and I would not put the patch back on befor I knew if you really think you are... LOL but be careful you don't want that to be the cause if you arent yet....

I was on the patch for a while, boy did I hate that thing. It made my periods seem like the worse thing my body could ever go through. But I went through one of those scares when I was on the depo shot and the nurse said that I just needed to find a new birth control. May be its the amount of hormones that the patch releases. From what I understand though these pregnancy tests are suppose to detect pregnancies within the first week and when all else fails you could go in and have a blood test done. Anyways good luck.

If your period is not due for another week then it is really too early to have symptoms. It takes about 10 days after ovulation to have the egg implant itself in the uterus. Your body wouldn't know it is pregnant until after that happens.

I am not familiar with the patch birth control but I guess it is possible that it failed and you did ovulate.

The short answer is that I do not think you are pregnant. The only way to tell is to wait or to get a blood test.

I would have to agree with the other comments. You have been pregnant twice before, so you know what it feels like!!!

When I was pregnant with my son I kept having negative pregnancy tests too. I kept taking tests because I wasn't getting my period, and then finally when I was 8 weeks pregnant it registered. Sometimes those home tests aren't that good I guess!
Good luck! Let us know for sure!

Go to your Primary Care Physician or OB/GYN office and ask them for a lab slip for a blood pregnancy test, you shouldn't need an appointment or anything but you might want to call first.

I am not to sure, I would think not. Typically a person ovulates between the 11-14th day after the first day of their period. If you have a normal cycle of 28 days and you are still a week away from your period if you were pregnant you would only be about 2 weeks along. Seems kind of early. I have heard the patch really mimicks symptoms of pregnancy. You never know. I would definatlly see a dr.
