In Feb. 2007, I went to my doctor complaining of heartburn, nausea, and bloating (I'd start out the morning with an almost flat belly and by evening, I'd look like I was 4 months pregnant).
She did 2 things: checked for pregnancy and also had blood-work done to check for h-pylori. (some kind of bacteria that lives in the stomach and causes gassiness, bloating, heartburn and is believed to be the underlying cause of ulcers.)
It turned out I was pregnant- we found out that same day, but it also turned out that I did have h-pylori as well. It was a miserable prgnancy- besides the fact that I looked much bigger than I was from the start, (no one likes to look fatter/bigger than they are) the worst was the heartburn! The gassiness was not nice, but the heartburn was waaay worse than normal pregnancy heartburn.
Get yourself to your doctor. So he/she can check for both pregnancy and H.Pylori. If you are positive for both like I was, you'll have to live with it for a while. (I received antibiotic treatment for it when I was 35 weeks pregnant because, as my OB put it, the baby was "already cooked" by that point and there was no real terratonous risk to her at that point from the antibiotics.)
Also...the treatment did take away most but not all of the symptoms of H. Pylori. I've been tested 3 times and tested negative, but I was still having the bloating and gassiness. I put up with it for about a year after my baby's birth and then started going to the Dr. to find a solution. After a couple of blood checks, etc, in January we had decided to do an upper GI to see if anything turned up...Well the day I saw my Doctor and decided on the GI as the next step, we found out I am pregnant again! So even though I was barely five weeks pregnant then, I was looking like I was four months. Now that I've hit five months, I start out pretty small in the morning-my belly is soft and jigggly but by evening it is taught and big.
I'm sorry if I'm worrying you too much, but it is a possible solution for what you're feeling- pregnant or not. The good thing is that though these things cause you discomfort, the worst being the heartburn, they are not seriously dangerous to you or your baby if you really are pregnant. The H. Pylori is definitely treatable. (It is however transmittable, so if you do test positive, you need to watch for symptoms in your family and husband. Drinking from the same cup, kissing can transmit. But they will not test unless there are symptoms. In my case my husband also was having the symptoms, was tested and was also positive. So he too waited until I was able to get the treatment, since we felt there would be a chance that I would re-transmit it to him.)
Anyway...I know my 2 cents were more like a $1.00, but I just wanted you to know that I was experiencing the same thing you are and they were not caused by pregnancy. I wish the best for you.

If you have any further questions, I'd be happy to tell you as much as I know form my experience.
