N.B.
I would steer clear of West Plano. Plano ISD has good marks, but the schools on the West side are over-crowded and very competitive. Unless your children are exceptionally bright or very good at sports, they are likely to "fall through the cracks". We are moving from West Plano for that very reason. For example, my son loves soccer and lives to play it, but most likely will not make the team because he is not the best of the best, etc. I hear East Plano is much better in that regard and there are some really nice neighborhoods with large yards in that area, so you may wish to consider the East side. But,if you want a truly incredible elementary school experience, I would suggest you check into Lovejoy ISD. It is all the buzz around here and people are moving from all over, just to get their children in that school system. I don't know much about the other areas you are considering... Hope this helps you. Any more questions, please feel free to e-mail me.
