It's very common for them not to go for quite a few days on occasion.
Exercise her legs and keep doing what you've been doing.
Trust me, she will explode eventually, you can bet on it ;)

Take her temperature rectally. That should help. It relaxes the rectum and allows the body to push the bowels out.
Peddling legs usually helps with gas, not pooping, in my experience.
If she was older i would recommend real maple syrup but she's not old enough for that. A pharmacist would NOT recommend something that an infant should NOT have. Get specifics on the directions - how much and such and try it.
Call your pediatrician's help line. It's possible there is a nurse or pediatrician on call.
However, I will state that my kids went 5 days without pooping when they were that age - it happens - even to breast fed babies!!!
Please DO NOT stress over this. She will pick up your stress. I know you are concerned about her. it will all work out.

You can call your ped's office tomorrow. There will still be someone on call on a holiday. Promise!
You could try a glycerin suppository. But let me warn you--cut it in half! And don't leave the house until she goes!
Mix a little water with about a teaspoon of dark karo syrup and give it to her with a medicine dropper, it will get her going.

Sometimes a bath with a bit of baking soda in it can get things moving. (You'd still want to check with the doctor to make sure it's safe for that age.)
I agree with you. Miralax is a chemical. Get her some child probiotics and give her a tiny spinkle in a bit of prune juice every few days since BF babies often go every several days and it is hard for them. In the meantime, you can give her some prune juice. That should get things going.
Fleets makes a suppository for kids that is safe to use. I used to have to with my daughter and I used half at a time and it worked rather fast too. Formula used to back her up. With my son I was able to get him to go with gas drops. I agree with you in not wanting to use Miralax, that stuff is not safe for babies at all let alone an adult!!!
I had this problem with both of my kids, and I personally would use the glycerin suppository. It can take a while to work, and if the stuck piece is too big around then you might need to use two. I don't use the syringe ones if I can help it, because the size can be too big for a little one. I hope she feels better soon.
One thing I used to do with my little ones when they had issues pooping was to bend their knees up against their chest and rock them side to side. I'd make a game of it. I'd bend their legs up, put my eyes behind their feet and when I'd rock them to one side, I'd pop out and say "Peek-a-boo!", then rock them to the other side, pop out...and so on and so forth.
If the pharm recommended Miralax, then he knows it's safe for a little one. Check with him/her about the dosage. Good luck hon!
When my daughter was a baby she became constipated (breastfed, too/0. The pharmacist said a glycerine suppository cut in half would work. We could only find the liquid in a syringe. Worked INSTANTLY. She told me she'd used on her own infants, so I trusted her advice.
PB8. I take it breastfeeding, but if the baby gets constipated, then I open a capsule and dump the contents slowly into his/her mouth. This gets things going in a hurry. Sugar and dairy consumed by mom can cause constipation fast. After 4 kids, I know what works!
Get some prune juice and cut it with water (half and half) and give 2 ounces to her with an eye dropper. That will help.
If you haven't talked to the nurse yet in your ped's office, you should. There are wax suppositories that you can use to help stimulate the rectum. It is helpful to have someone show you how to do it, or the nurse could talk you through it. Ask her the name of the product, or ask the pharmacist.
Be prepared for a blow-out when she finally DOES poop. There is probably a big section of it blocking the way, and when it finally comes through, a lot of the liquidy stuff will squirt all over the place.
