High possibility!!!! I had the same symptoms & after 3 pregnancy tests got the positive result. Try to wait another 2 wks then take a test, don't want to do it too early b/c those test are expensive. Congrats if you are.
Hi. I've been having what I assume are symptoms of pregnancy for the past two and half weeks. I'm nauseous all day, headaches, bloating, extremely tired no matter how much sleep I get. A day before I expected my period I started spotting and have been for the past five days now. I've never experienced this. My periods are always on the heavier side. Is it possible that I am pregnant?
Many negative pregnancy tests later... I'm not pregnant. I do, however, feel that I am, so only time will actually tell. I'll trust my own instincts before something I pee on.

It's possible that you are pregnant. Spotting can occur early on in a pregnancy. I would see a doctor right away to check if you are pregnant and to make sure there isn't any problems if you are. Good Luck
Please do as others have suggested and get a pregnancy test. Yes you can be pregnant with the spotting. It could be a serious complication such as a tubal or ectopic pregnancy. I had one and spotted continuously for weeks till it was properly diagnosed. It could cause you to lose a fallopian tube if not dealt with quickly.
PLEASE check on this quickly!!
Let us know what happens.
If you truely believe you are pregnant you can go to the doctor and they will do a blood test which is far more reliable than a home pregnancy test. Some woman just never test positive on those things even though they are pregnant.
Have you taken a pregnancy test?
A friend of mine didn't figure out she was pregnant until she was almost 4 mos along bacuse she kept spotting every month so she didn't think she was.
I would suggest taking a pregnancy test!!!!!

It is possible that you are pregnant. Spotting in the beginning of pregnancy is common. That is usually from the egg implanting in your uterus. You can take a test the day after your period should end and you may get a positive result or negative. I have always waited 2 wks. after I was supposed to start my period to take a test because the results will be clearer then. You do have some of the symptoms but it is still kind of early to know for sure. Good luck.

I am 31 and have been married for almost 12 yrs. My husband and I have 3 boys ages 10,7 and 4.
I had that spotting happend too, and made the mistake of thinking it was a period then the next month I had nothing.. So my pregnancy due date was a month off b/c I told the doctor the wrong date of my last menstral period. Buy a box w/ 2 tests in it... Take one now and if it comes up negative, wait 2 weeks and take it again.. sometimes it doesn't show right away
spotting so early and for five day is a sign that most likely you are not, but It is important that you go to the doctor and get checked out. If your period is not like the normal ones. My friend and I have both had this happen. We both had signs of pregnancy but spotted soon after. We had positive pregnancy tests. When I went to the OB GYN they did an ultra sound there was no sign of anything that looked like a pregnancy. I spotted for a 5 weeks and had to go in to the doctor each week to make sure my Pregnancy Hormones went down. It was kind of like a miscarriage, my body started to prepare for a baby but, my period started when there was none. My friend also had no baby but her body had started to make a placenta and had to have a DNC. They also had to check her hormones until they returned to normal. You should go get checked out now! Hope this is helpful.
you may want to take a pregnancy test.....
There is a definite chance that you could be pregnant even if you are spotting but there is also a chance that you are just overly stressed about the possibility of being pregnant. Stress can have an effect on your periods. You could do a pregnancy test but I am not sure about the accuracy during bleeding. I don't know where you are located or your financial situation but I do know that some women I know have purchased the pregnancy tests from their local "Family Dollar" store for $1 and they have been accurate for them. There are also good Crisis Pregnancy Centers for women who need to have tests done, at no cost to the individual. I would suggest you visit your doctor if the spotting doesn't stop. Spotting during a pregnancy is not necessarily an indicator that there is a problem but can be in some cases. In any case with your fatigue you should probably see a doctor to find out for sure. Take care and God Bless You.
yes.. it is entirely possible your pregnant. Go get a blood test to make sure though
Go get a blood test. If you are pregnant, you need to be taking vitamins and eating well. Don't put it off. If it comes up negative, you should probably have your symptoms looked in to for another diagnosis. Good Luck:)
I would FIRST get a home test. IF you are spotting and you usually have a bigger period you could be. IF you have been under stress of any kind it does affect your periods trust me. I was pregnant and was spotting and HAD NO CLUE I was pregnant for my sec child. I thought it was the stress from moving away from family plus where we lived in an apt while our house was being built we were the only ones who did not smoke in our complex and the smoke was coming through the vents I was ALWAYS sick to stomach and headaches bad.I finally hated feeling that way so I got a test and it said positive but VERY light 2nd line SO I went to the Dr and YEP I was 2 1/2 mo pregnant.I did have my periods the 2 mo to spotting. I would get checked out b/c if you are you need to take care of you and the baby. Good Luck and take care.
Have you taken a test? That would be the first step in finding out. They sell great ones that will tell you earlier than some and are pretty reliable too.
Your symtoms do not necessarily mean you are pregnant, but of course there is always a chance. So I would take a test to see for sure
I know personally my body does wierd things as the weather changes around my period time, sounds crazy, I know, but it is true. Maybe because of the weather change I am more bloated and tired from the heat, etc.
Take a test and put your mind at ease, either way it goes...:)
Take a pregnancy test and/or go see your doctor. That's the only way to be sure.
You should see your doctor. I had an ectopic pregnancy and spotted the whole time. I had taken several home pregnancy tests and all were negative. I went to see my doctor and the blood test was postive. It was very scary, by the time I found out it was ectopic I was almost 9 weeks. Ectopic pregnancies do not usually make it to 9 weeks so I had to be rushed in to emergency surgery the same day. My doctor said my tube was buldging and was about to rupture any time. If there are any doubts please see your doctor I would not want anyone else to go through the surgery and the emotional stress this caused. I also know people who have had healthy pregnancies and spotted, so in any case you need to see your OB/Gyn for care!! Take Care and keep us posted!!
You could be pregnant. I had this exact thing happen to me before both of my pregnancies. It went on for a month or 2 each time, but I wasn't pregnant. My OB/GYN told me that too much stress can cause your body to repsond in this way as well. I still took a pregnancy test in disbelief but then it happened after I had my 1st child for about 5 mos. The best thing to do is go to your OB/GYN and let them do a test, they will also see if not pregnancy what it could be.
Go get a test at the drug store and take it. Then you'll know instead of worrying.
Good luck.
your best bet is to take a test. you may just be having a super light period this time around due to stress or diet and exercise. ok well i just read your "what happened" thing and when you get pregnant the nausea doesn't even start until you are 5-6 weeks pregnant. so if you still think you are pregnant just call your ob-gyn and ask for an hcg (blood preg test) and it'll tell you for sure
Katy,
It sounds like you are pregnant, but the only way that you will find out for sure is if you go to a women's care center or your OB/GYN for a pregnancy test.
I wish you the best of luck.

Here's some of my prego symptoms...
When I was pregnant, my nauseousness was like the worst flu I ever had. It would come in waves and I would feel like I was hyperventilating. I became very sensitive to smells. Things I liked didn't seem appealing. I wasn't hungry all the time, but I became a bit anxious. I started the nesting syndrome and began cleaning like a crazy woman! I washed down the ceilings, walls, floors. I cleaned the furniture, organized closets, made sure laundry was ironed, folded and hung neatly in the closet. I even ironed t-shirts and bed sheets. I became absolutely meticulous and a bit aggrevated if it didn't stay neat and clean. I also became very emotional. I would cry when I viewed a commercial that showed families, or talked about medicine that helped an ailment, showed cute pictures of puppies for dog food, women's movies, etc. I would cry when I was happy, sad and just because. And... of course... every women gets the momma glow. Your cheeks become rosey, your face around your cheeks become a bit paler, and your skin starts to breakout like you're a teenager again.
You sound like me may be pregnant. However, being nervous about school and a pending marriage may cause stress. Stress can make your period shift a bit as well. Additionally, when women enter their 20's, different hormones are adjusting to womanhood and your normal cycle may change a bit. Just fyi...

These are possible signs of pregnancy, but the only way to be sure would be to take either a urine or blood pregnancy test. In the meantime, if you are at all thinking it is possible, I would suggest treating your body like you are pregnant just in case. And, since your period was due several days ago, you should be able to take a test now to be sure.
God bless,
A.
