Yeah, yeah, I know I was supposed to be in bed by know. So I did a load of towels, I get done reading the WSJ and posting here. So I am about to get up and I look towards the floor next to the sofa. Sitting there, looking rather indignant, is a towel I missed!!!!!
Why do you always find one item that should have been laundered with a specific load after the darn load is done??!!!

A sock, a glass, a drain, a buby, a dust bunny, a pile; you name the mundane chore and I'll have missed a spot. Housewife extraordinaire, I am not.
If it makes you feel any better... my friend has the terminal for the black hole that steals everyone's missing white socks. He only wears argyll socks. But every load he does, he finds a white sock. It drives him up the wall.
The answer I give him is the same: gremlins.
We use cloth diapers and my son always has a massive poop in his diapers immediately after I've laundered them. Every dang time! It drives me crazy!!
My nemesis is always the one sock I missed LOL

I was about to say . ..weren't you supposed to go to bed?? I have no idea how we miss that one thing. I miss so many of them. It sucks.
Weird things like the sofa, the bookcase, the bathroom, the closet, the underneath the bed, the kitchen in my house eat my kids socks but then vomit them back up just moments after the wash cycle is done. I mean, really? Couldn't you have exposed yourself sooner?
yep - for me tonight it was the dishes! after i looked all over for her tippy that i swore was in the fridge but couldn't find...did the dishes then turn around and there it was! we had even checked the car twice and called my parents to see if we left there! Oh boy! hope it's not a sign of how the night will be! lol goodnight!

I actually have even run naked out of the bathroom (where the washer is) so I don't have that jean (and everything else) left alone in the dirty clothes later, and guess what, it is always something missing anyway.
Would it be nice to see for at least one time what does the bottom of the dirty clothes basket looks like?
