I just moved to New Gloucester and am looking for Playgroups or Mom's groups in the area. My son is almost a year old and it gets pretty lonely staying home with him and not knowing many people in the area. Does anyone know of any?
I live in Gray...there is a playgroup at Newbegin Gym Wednessday mornings from 9-11. I think they have snacks and it costs 50 cents per child. The Gray Library also has storytime a few days per week depending on the age of your child...I think you can find infomation on their website. Good luck!

I have a 13 month old son and live in Lewiston. I belong to a mom's group on Yahoo called Central Maine Playgroup. You should check us out. Though I don't know if any are from New Gloucester, many of the moms are from Poland and that end of Auburn. Hope to see you on there!!

M., I'm not sure if this is too far but in Lewiston Advocates for Children has a playgroup every Monday and Thursday. It's free play on Monday and Thursday is an art project( for those who want to do it) and free play. The Kiddo's play, have a snack and then a story to end it all. It is from 10-11 am every week

Welcome to the area! I live in NG too. My son is 7 now but when he was little I found people with similar aged children by attending story time at the NG or Gray Library.

I'm part of a moms group that has organized playgroups, mom's night out once a month and diffrent fun activities for moms and kids of the Lewiston, Auburn and surounding areas (Gray/ New Gloucester, Poland, Minot, Turner, Litchfield, Sabattus, Wales, etc.) so feel free to check us out!
