Hi! I am new to the site and new to the area for that matter. I live in Carpentersville, IL. I have a 7 1/2 month old daughter and we are looking for playmates in the area. Anyone interested in meeting for coffee and/or lunch sometime?
I live in Algonquin and always looking to meet new mom's! I have a 15 month old daughter.
I belong to 3 and they are all "attachment parenting" type groups- moms who breastfeed, co-sleep, etc. if that is what you are interested in. They have playgroups and meet ups both big and small.

another vote for carymomsgroup.com - I've been a member since my 10 1/2 month old son was born - it's been a great way to meet other people.
Try meetup.com and search your area. I belong to 2 Mom's groups and I love them both! One is called McHenry Mom's Group and the other is Baby Bug Stay at Home Mom's Group.
