We just bought our kids one by Premier Playsystems. So far it's great. Great quality, and not terribly expensive.
We are going to get our 4yr old twin boys one of those wooden play structures. It needs to be on the smaller side as I still want some of my yard left. Is there anyone out there that might have some advice as so any good brands. I know there is Rainbow, but they want a fortune. Advice on pros, cons, features, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Look at Toys R Us and Home Depot/Lowe's websites. You can compare and review. You can always look on Craigslist too.
We're looking too. Our daughter will be two this summer so we decided against a big wooden structure and will wait a few more years for that. We are probably going to get a small step 2 or little tykes climber. Anyhow, costco does have a really nice one for $999, remember that you have to put it together. We found a local company that will build one onsite for $1499, and it may be worth the extra cost b/c my husband is tool inept. I checked on craigslist and they had many for around $500-800, for a nice "Rainbow" like structure.
Costco has sold a playset for years. Until this year, it was manufactured by Rainbow. The new one this year is made by a different, major manufacturer of playsets (like Backyard Adventures or something like that). These are usually the smallest system made by these major companies -- and they are significantly less expensive than if you bought the brand name.
Our family did get a Rainbow.. but.. we bought it off of Craigslist. We got ours for $300.00 and only had to pressure wash it and put some more stain on it to make it look new again. The $300.00 we spent is far less than if we tried to buy a Costco brand (which is a great brand too).
I hope you find one for your boys.. Our daughter loves hers.. !
