I don't think you will find anything that is completely foolproof but, I use what is call the Instead Cup. You insert it like a diaphram and it collects the blood from your period. You only have to change it like once every 12 hours or so and I usually only have to use a thin pantiliner on my heaviest days along with it. It is worth a try. I usually buy the cups at Wal Mart but, it may depend on where you live. I think you also may be able to find them online somewhere if all else fails.

I used to have the same problem and now use the diva cup, which was recommended by my doctor. It is the best thing I ever purchased! I have never leaked and it is so simple to use. There's more info on it at www.divacup.com. I hope it works for you!

Have you ever tried INSTEAD? The only place I can always find them is at Wal-Mart, and they come in a box of 6 or 12, and I want to say the box of 12 is $5 or so... they are kind of pricey, but they are WONDERFUL!! They work great, and you can keep them in overnight, and for up to 12 hours.... They have a website too, so if you search "instead" it will come up. Check them out. I started using them over 5 years ago, and still like them. I use tampons too, but these are great. This may be TMI, but you can have sex with them in, and I swear, nobody would ever know. Good Luck!

I used to have the same problem, I added a pad and changed all of it often.

I've always had good luck with Playtex super absorbancy. But even though it never leaks- I still wear a very thin pantyliner.

I have tried it all, I swear! Finally, I tried the one brand that I swore I wouldn't use...OB. I was a little unsure at first, but isn't at all messy like you'd think. They have a new version out that is really smooth to insert. I am a heavy bleeder so I always use the most absorbent I can find...sorry TMI, I know, but they tend to run 'small'. Anyway, most of the pad brands also have a liner out now that is super thin and flexible so you can't even feel it, I use that just in case, as well but haven't had a leak yet. Good luck!
