It's almost time for my son's 9 month checkup and we moved from Pella a couple monthsago so have no pediatrician yet. It'd be nice to find a pediatrician that can also treat me (our previous doctor was my ob-gyn, our pediatrician and general doctor) as I work a lot, but any suggestions on good pediatricians would be greatly appreciated. Our former nurse recommended one near Walnut Creek, but can't remember the name. Thanks!
I take my 8 month old to the Walnut Creek clinic on 73rd (in windsor heights). All the Doctors there have been great! Our Dr. is Dr. Lonzorich (sp?), but we've seen them all. They have great hours too! Open on evenings and weekends.
I highly recommend David Williams and Catherine Truesdale. They are in Des Moines, and their number is ###-###-####. I also read Penny's response, and Dr Wallin is indeed wonderful. Dr's Williams and Truesdale are also part of the group, with their office being closer to downtown. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. Good Luck.

There is a great group over on 73rd Street (over by Wal-Mart) Walnut Creek Pediatrics. We go to Dr. Enserro. She has a great personality and is great with my 8 1/2 month son.

I take my 16 week old to Dr. Hetherington at Blank Children's Group. I think all of the doctors there are excellent.
We use Johnston Family Practice and have been very happy with them. They are always able to get my son or husband in at the last minute and all the Dr's and PA's there are super nice. They are located on 86th Street in Johnston, by the Dahl's.
A., we love our Pediatrician -- Dr. Rinderknecht. He's in Waukee. The Walnut Creek clinic is also in his group. Our favorite doctor there is Dr. A. Wallin. I'm not sure of the spelling on her last name, but it's close enough. It's pronounced "Wall-een." She is amazingly sweet and great with children.
