I am looking for a new pediatrican in Springfield. I need one that accepts Medicaid. Any thoughts on who you like or dislike and why would be such a great help. Thanks in advance!
I don't know if they accept Medicaid, but we go to Pediatric Associates, and they are thru Cox Hospital. I've heard nothing but good about all the drs there. We just had to switch due to a job change, and they got us in quick as new patients.

I would recommend Dr. Wright or Dr. Hakan at Northside Pediatrics. They are a part of Cox Health Systems and are accepting Medicaid. I have worked with both of them, Dr. Wright has only been with the practice for about a year so she might be easier to get in with but the practice is always very nice along with the office staff.

I've always gone to the Dr's @ Smith Glynn Calaway Clinic and have taken my boys there now too. Dr Bussman is our new Dr, and she is very nice... she listens well and is quite thurough. ps we had to change because Dr Holland finally retired after 43 years. It's part of St Johns- Mercy Hospitals and they do take Medicaid!!

Not sure if they take medicaid but we see Dr. Sears at Pediatric Associates and she is wonderful.
My daughter takes my 3 yr old grandson to Dr. Moore @ Smith Glynn Caloway (?) on National.
She is young, progressive and seems to love what she does.

My kids see Dr Faust, and I have been happy with him. He does accept Medicaid.
I have seen ads in the kids directory for Dr Faust. He advertises that he accepts medicaid. I don't know too much about him though.
