My 6 y/o daughter needs a cavity filled. She's VERY anxious about this. Can any of you recommend a pediatric dentist in the Phoenixville, Collegeville, Exton radius? Can you also tell me what to expect as far as sedation for my fearful kid. Thanks.
We just got back from the dentist and all went great! We ended up going to Dr. Sara Rashedi at Oaks Dental Specialists. She did a wonderful job! I think what really helped is that she asked to meet with my daughter a couple of weeks before today just to get know her and explain the procedure (in a very kid-friendly way). I had both my daughters with me that day and they both took to her right away. She was even able to clean my 2yr. old's teeth-no problem!. Anyhow, today, at the cavity filling appointment, my daughter was very relaxed and did not complain of any pain. She came away smiling!!

If you're willing to drive to West Chester, Dr Jeff Melini of Chester County Denistry for Children is fabulous. Their office setting makes kids totally at ease - very kid friendly. Good luck!
Dr. Jeff Melini. He has offices in West Chester and in Lionville. Really great guy. The kids never minded going to him.

They're wonderful. We see Dr. ALison, but both dentists are great. Many friends use them and have had cavities filled for their kids and even worse procedures. I highly recommend them.
