I am looking for a good pediatric dentist near Commack, NY. My son has ADHD and some sendory intergation issues and I need someone really good so this experience goes well. I find for my son, if it goes well the first time he is fine with it from there on, if it goes poorly the first time I am DOOMED!
Any suggestion would be appreciated!

Thank you to everyone who responded. I ended up taking him to Adelberg Pediatric Dental in Smithtown. They were great with him and the office staff could not have been more helpful. I would recommend them HIGHLY!!!

If you're willing to drive a little bit, there is a great pediatric dentist in Woodbury-- Woodbury Pediatric Dentist. Dr. Lisa Ritterh-Kahn. She is gentle and patient and seems to deal w/ good kid psychology. My 5 year old was freaked out about the vitamin and this last time the dentist announced to the staff that my daughter should never receive those kinds of vitamins ever again. She took over for the hygenist and my daughter allowed her to paint some "cleaner" on her teeth. It is a very crowded office, with a wait, but if you speak w/ the staff I think they could work w/ you on timing.

Hi - we use Howard Schneider. He has two offices - one in Huntington Village and another on Larkfield Rd in E. Northport. Nice guy, nice staff - stuffed animals in office, etc. Only negative is you have to file your own insurance papers, they don't do that so you have to pay for everything up front, if that is an issue for you.
