We currently have a GREAT pediatric dentist that we go to and LOVE, Dr. James Yhee. However, my husband just signed up for dental insurance and it turns out he is not contracted with our insurance. I am being forced to find a new Pediatric Dentist in our area. I am able to find many pediatric dentists in our area, but it is so hard to decide since I know nothing about them or others experience with these dentists. It would help and I would love to hear of some personal experiences you and your kids have had with your pediatric dentist in the Woodland Hills area. Please give me ANY suggestions that would help me choose the best pediatric dentist for my kids. Thanks Moms!!

My kids go to Dr. Jill Lasky (in Martin Lasky's office). My daughter had a previously horrible experience at another dentist and when I took her to Dr. Jill it went very well. My kids have no problem going there. All the staff and very nice and work well with the kids. Located on Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana/Woodland Hills.

Our Pediatrician recommended Dr. Martin Lasky. We went there twice and for some reason my son wasn't happy there but it was a really nice place and the doctors were great (several Lasky family members work there). So we switched to Dr. Haleh Shaheedy - ###-###-####. My son and nieces go to her and they love her. Check with both doctors to see if they take your insurance.

Good luck!

That also just happened to us. I live in the same area. I am going to call Dr. Pabst in Agoura Hills, soon, to see if she takes our new insurance. I've heard good things about her and someone I know paid cash for her kids' cleaning and xrays and it was very reasonable, also. Good luck.

We see Dr. Joe Sciarra ###-###-#### - he's a pediatric dentist and orthodontist so it's like 2 visits in 1!

I take my daughter to Dr. Pabst in West Hills. I had taken my daughter to two other dentists. One said she had seven cavities and one said she had five. Dr. Pabst said that yes she had these sort of holes in her teeth but that they were all hard and not cavities that needed to be filled. Obviously, that was music to my ears!! I do have to warn you that that woman can talk!!!
