I am seeking a pediatric dentist in my area. We are currently using one in Mill Creek - but I do not care for the office staff or the dentist, for many different reasons. Mainly I really don't like how they make me feel. I would like to take my son to a new dentist for a 2nd opinion. Thank you.

What can I do next?

I LOVE Dr. Olga Ortuzar, on 128th Street, West of Macdonalds on the Right. Her Tel: ###-###-#### and Address: 913 - 128th St. SW, Everett, WA 98204. She has a beautiful clinic, videos for the kids, prizes afterwards. Just LOVES kids. Also she stopped using Amalgam fillings long before people stopped using them because they are toxic.

She's great. I've been using her for my kids for a total of 13 years!

Hi A.,
I work in a dental office in Mukilteo. The dentist I work for is wonderful with children. She has 2 girls 5 and 3. Our office is a Very family friendly and we care so much for our patients. We love children and we all are Mom's and Grandma's. I'm sure you would really be happy there. We haven't lost a patient yet because they were unhappy with the dentist or the staff. Our number is ###-###-#### and ask for me Cheryle and I'll answer any question you might have.
Take care and have a good morning!

Hi A.. I don't know if Kirkland is too far for you, but I honestly love our pediatric dentist. He and his staff are REALLY great. They make the whole experience fun for the kids and really take the time to explain everything and in a really fun way. Both of my boys have been there and they don't mind going back. If you're interested, here's their info:

We use Dr Rama at Woodinville Pediatric in Woodinville and my 3.5 year old loves going there.

We live in Canyon park and it takes us about 15 minutes to get there so even though it's not in Bothell it's very close.

Hi A.! We see Dr. Haub in Silver Lake. Although he is not labeled as a "pediatric dentist" he has been GREAT with both my children. He has three children of his own and is very good with children. His receptionist is very accommodating and the rest of the office staff is very kind and friendly. I believe it would be worth checking out! The office number is ###-###-####. And if you are looking to switch also, I think they are offering teeth whitening for new (adult!) patients. Of course, I always miss those offers!! Good luck with your son.

We go to Canyon Park Dental in Bothell. They don't specialize in children but my daughters (5 & 7) love going there. They even made my husband feel comfortable and he hates going to the dentist. We've been very happy there.

One more vote for Children's Dental Center in S. Everett. We've been going there 8 years--I have four kids and they all like it there a lot. They love the videos they get to watch in the ceiling. Even my teenager doesn't want to switch away yet. Dr. Ortuzar is conservative---doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures. My 6 y.o. had a playground accident last year and knocked teeth out. She was very good with her and waited as long as possible before removing two more damaged teeth, waiting to make sure it was really necessary. Their office is very organized and they are always very accurate on insurance estimates. The hygienists are wonderful too. I highly recommend them!

I take my kids to a great dentist in South Everett. She and her office staff are great and my son who is 2 and hates to have his teeth brushed will let her work on his teeth. My husband even likes taking the kids there and that is saying a lot, we tried three others before finding them.
Here is the information: Children's Dental Center

I know Marysville is probably out of the way, but if it is only twice a year or so it is definitely worth a little drive to us (we are coming from Lake Stevens). Marysville Children's Dentistry and Dr. Christopher Lugo are wonderful. He is like a big teddy bear to the kids and my daughter doesn't want to leave the office when she's done. It is very clean and professional looking, and very kid-friendly too (train table, DVDs, and toys, and stickers and tokens for prizes at the end). They let kids pick their new brushes and their fun flavors for fluoride--cookie dough was my daughter's choice :). Also, a huge plus: all of the staff members are super nice on the phone and in person...not once has someone been rude or short or even "fakey" friendly, they just seem like people who geniunely enjoy their jobs. Highly recommended!
