Hi mamas,
Wondering if any of you out there with PCOS have had success dieting. I'd really love to lose 20 lbs, but seems like my body is "refusing" lol! I did try no carbs at breakfast or dinner and only allowing carbs at lunch and I did lose 1 lb. I've been thinking about Weight Watchers or maybe trying the insulite labs supplements as a friend with PCOS did have success with insulite labs. I do work out regularly. TIA for any advice or encouragement.

I recommend that you talk to the Anti-Aging and Vitality Center of Dallas. They are experts in the area of hormones, which I understand are affected by PCOS, and hormones play a big role in weight management.
Good luck - I know how frustrating trying to lose weight can be!

I am right there with you - I am STILL trying to lose my baby weight (he's 16 months!!!) and am having a VERY hard time. I have a hard time with Weight Watcher's because it's hard for my husband to stick with me. I tried South Beach a couple months ago and got SO frustrated when I lost 8 lbs the first week and gained 4 back the next (and didn't cheat) UGH!!! So if anyone has any advice I'd LOVE to hear it!!!
My friend with PCOS follows Low Carb diets and does well. MAkes her feel better to...unless you are breastfeeding, it can make themilk taste wierd so you up your carb intake a little to find theight balance
