George George Park is wonderful! Big enough to keep anyone busy, small enough to keep everyone contained.
George George Park at Cass/Moravian, Waldenberg Park at 21/Romeo Plank, St. Lawrence Catholic Church on Utica in Sterling Heights is a neat one. Also, check out the elementary schools...some have better playgrounds for little ones than others. Huron Elem is good, it's in the sub between 17 & 18 and Hayes/Garfield.
George George Park and Waldenberg Park are my favorites. GG is located off Cass & Moravian and is very large, has several playscapes, a walking path, pavilion, water fountain and restrooms. Waldenberg is smaller, but has 2 large playscapes, a nature trail, volleyball courts and restrooms. It's at 21 and Romeo Plank.
I don't know where you live... but there is a great park at 21 and Romeo Plank. It has a little and big structure, but also vending machines, bathrooms, grills, and picnic tables.. and also a nice walking path in the woods.
We LOVE George George park in Clinton Township. It is on Moravian between Cass and Harrington. It just opened last year and it is gorgeous! Have fun!
Fort Fraser next to the Fraser city buildings at 14 Mile and Garfield (Utica comes in there too). Cool pioneer fort playscape with only one way in/out. Picnic tables in pavilion nearby.
George George Park in Clinton Township, off Moravian. Just over a year old - very pretty and lots of play equipment and walking paths & pretty gardens, duck pond etc.
