I have my yearly pap exam today and it is my 3rd day of my period. Am I suppose to cancel my appt or do they still do it?
For those of you wondering the same question: The nurse is going to call me back after asking the Dr. She said sometimes they still do it. She asked if it is light or not also. I hope it gets changed since we are getting a snow storm today. They left it up to me and I got to change it. Yeah!!!

Great question, I'm supposed to go Monday and I'll be in the same boat ;) I believe my doc said they CAN... but most women prefer not to.
I could have totally made that up, LOL ;)
Now a day's you can go either way, I choose not to go when I'm on mine simply because of how uncomfortable I am and all the cramping I'd hate to have anyone messing with me down there during my period. Whatever your comfortable with.!
My Ob/gyn always makes me cancel if I'm on my period. Once I showed up a day before it was over (so very light), and they sent me home.
