Hello! I am having 2 different pains! One exterior right below my breasts-in the middle-where the flower on your bra would be. A little under that- it burns....so I have been putting powder on it- seems to work..... but now in the same area- I have a deeper pain- more like a muscle pain a few times a day. Are these related? What are they?? COnfused, and in pain! THanks

I had the same kind of thing around 7-8 months. It stunk! I had it a lot when going from lying to standing - I had to really remember to roll to my side and press up with my arms in the morning. Basically, it's muscles and ligamants streching. I iced mine at night and that helped a bit, too.

Hi C.,

I agree first and foremost to talk to your doctor - just to double check.

But - when I was pregnant - I had to use powder with corn starch (but plain old food corn starch is probably even better) in the area under my breasts and between them (right about where you are describing) because I was sweating more and my bra irritated the hell out of me without the corn starch!

Then - I got indigestion - but weird. It wasn't always a pain, although sometimes it was just a burning right where you are describing. Sometimes it was just this weird taste in my mouth. I used Tums - as often as I could take them. If that doesn't help - try to drink a glass of milk. But, the thing that worked the best right around the timeframe of 7 months pregnant was mint chocolate chip ice cream. It started where I needed a little MCC ice cream around 3 or 4 pm each day - then, also at night around 8-9, then by then end - I ate it mid morning, afternoon, and evening! It truly was the only thing that helped by then - even my neighbor still picks on me for how much ice cream I would eat!

Good luck - Hope you feel better!!

It sounds like indegestion... but it doesn't matter what anyone here says... you NEED to get to your doctor and speak with him/her about it as soon as you can... first time preggers don't take any chances!
Good Luck!

Do not be alarmed. I am 8 mths. and have the same thing. The pain below in between your breasts is coming from the top of your uterus(which is a muscle). It stretches and causes these pains. There are also sensitive areas around that hurt or become sore, also from the stretching. They are also related to braxton-hicks, so you might feel it a few times a day. Do not worry about preterm labor, those contractions are not sporadic and are more regular. You will experience them even more as you approach your due date. The only thing I found to help me with them is to sit down for a while and drink a bottle of water. Hope this helps.

Hey mom,

I am not a doctor but sounds pretty normal,
the exterior pain is probably from your bra, when your pregnant everything moves around. and the baby grows pressing and squishing everything UP and OUT LOL

The burning inside is probably indigestion, and some tums might help that.

as for the bra, try going to victorias secret, they can measure you and fit you for a new bra size.

If you think its not your bra, then it could be sweat pooling in the area, causing an irritation.

If you don't think its indigestion, then it it more likely just normal stretching from the pregnancy.

I suggest calling your Ob GYN and talking to the nurse, tell her what your symptoms are and she can advise you,

I have been pregnant 4 times, and with each pregnancy, pain pain pain, al kinds of weird places LOL,
No one ever tells you about that, the most they ever talk about is the pain of child birth, not the 9 months of weird strange scarey little pains, everywwhere.

Good luck and congrats!

There are so many things it can be I would check with your doc. The burning could just be indigestion, and the pain could be gall bladder. Many women have gall bladder complications during or after pregnancy. I think the pain travels from under the breast to your back sometimes. I know my mom had it and would complain of the pain traveling from the front to the back. It could just be bad gas pains also. Gas itself can be very painful. I know when I was pregnant I was allowed to chew Tums, or drink Mylanta for indigestion and gas. I would check it out with your doctor if he says it's okay then try it if it helps then you can rule out anything else. Good luck

Hi! You may want to mention it to your doctor, but I wonder if the pain is from your ribcage and muscles expanding a bit to accommodate your growing bundle of joy? Best of luck!
