Well, IMO, they are pretty much all the same. The point is to check for an increased level of hCg in your urine. I've used brand name ones and I've used cheap ones.....both seemed to work about the same.

I agree with Heather, I used a name brand with my first and a generic with my second and both worked the same. Use the ones that look like a pregnancy test, I think that the Target generic is the one I used last. Good luck!

K I have used a few and I don't like the cheap ones that are just the little paper strips (usually the boxs that cost less and have like 20 some test in them are the paper strip ones) They are much harder to read and seem to just not be as sensitive. I like the ones that cost more and look like a pregnancy test. Like First Response brand. It was just made better and there for easier to read. I don't know if you have used any kits yet but they are kinda tricky. Like for a pregnancy test two lines no matter what the shed means your are pregnant. But for an ovulation kit one means you are not ovulating and two lines can still mean you are not ovulating unless the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. So that is where it gets tricky. So for a good kit with less problems go for the more expensive ones. Good luck

My husband and me used Clearblue Easy Digital Ovulation Kit to conceive our second child; we conceived in two months. Was expensive but worked better than the others in my opinion for me.

As I'm sure you'll discover from reading the test box, you're looking for an LH surge, not an elevation of HcG. HcG is the pregnancy hormone which is measured by pregnancy tests.
