I'm looking for an outdoor location to take family pictures....we've got the high quality camera, and amateur photographers.....just need a good location. We've done pictures by the creek off of Crepe Myrtle in Flower Mound and are looking for somewhere else......prefer Flower MOund, Grapevine, Coppell, Lewisville, or Highland Village areas.....thanks so much for your recommendations.

We had some portraits taken at the Hilton DFW Lakes right by Grapevine Mills. It is beautiful back behind the hotel. The botanical gardens in Grapevine is really pretty too, but they do charge to take pictures.
I take a lot of pics of my fam and friends and have used the Botanical gardens in grapevine with much success. I have never been charged and have seen many folks that work there. I do know that the Dallas Arboretum does charge perhaps that is what the other post was referring to. Good luck!

I have personally never been there but I hear that somewhere beside Lamb of God church there is a beautiful place to take pics. It has a little creek/stream w/ rocks and appears woodsy. I have personally never been there but have seen plenty of photos taken there. There is a local photographer(whose name escapes me ,sorry) who takes a lot of family portraits there. So if you have some time go explore that area.Maybe someone else will be able to give you a bit more detail about it-it's pretty well known here in town.
